As well as technical competence in the mechanics of a vehicle you may have a thorough knowledge of the electrical and electronic components of a vehicle and be comfortable with using the latest diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults. You will have a positive, 'can do' attitude, and willingness to work as part of an effective team. You should be a good team player and communicator to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop, ensuring you liase with other team members to meet and exceed customer expectations. Our technicians also benefit from regular manufacturer training to ensure you are kept up to date with the latest models and techniques. Service Advisors department. In this busy and varied role you will be exceptionally organised to ensure the efficient, booking and servicing of customer vehicles. You will be a good team player with excellent, communication skills, along with the ability to sell additional products and services to our customers., There are various IT Systems and processes in place to assist you in your role, so being computer literate, will be an advantage along with a keen eye for detail to ensure you are accurately recording our customer, details. As a service advisor you will gain knowledge of some of the common technical issues faced by our, customers, so it is not necessary to have a thorough working knowledge of car engines! Apprentices (Service, Bodyshop, Parts) operations. Joining as an Apprentice will mean you will study towards a structured NVQ or Modern, Apprenticeship programme supported by either the Manufacturer or the Retail Motor Industry Training, body, ReMit. We believe learning is a continuous process and we will support you in this with the, necessary work based opportunities. You'll need to be a quick, motivated worker keen to attend college to achieve an NVQ or Modern, Apprenticeship. Ideally you will have achieved or been predicted a minimum of three GCSEs at, grade C or above. As a trainee you will benefit from working in well-equipped workshops on some of the latest models, and you will be fully trained in the use of the latest advance diagnostic systems. We often promote, from within and if you successfully achieve your qualification there are great prospects to become a, highly skilled service or bodyshop technician or parts professional, perhaps even management of, the future, if that's what you want. Parts Associates parts to meet their needs. In this role you will ensure that the right part is in the right place at, the right time. To succeed in this role you will have a keen eye for detail, and excellent organisation skills., To assist you there are systems and processes in place including a computerised stock and order, management system, so you will ideally need to be IT literate. As well as dealing with customers (both trade and retail) you will also be receiving, sorting and, storing parts as they arrive, to ensure we have the correct stock and it can be easily found, thus, ensuring the best possible service to your customers. Bodyshop Technicians role in our bodyshop department you will be a fully competent specialist in either paint or panel work. You will have a positive, 'can do' attitude, and willingness to work as part of an effective team. You, should be a good team player and communicator to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through, the workshop, ensuring you liase with other team members to meet and exceed customer expectations. Finance and Accounts Associates finance and accounting opportunities, roles may include, Branch Financial Controllers, Assistant, Accountants and Account Clerks. Whatever role you are in within accounts, it is essential that you are able to complete accounts, and related matters to a high standard of accuracy whilst meeting strict deadlines. Ideally you will, be fully qualified or working towards a relevant qualification in this field. You will also have, excellent team working and communication skills along with commitment to the role. Motor trade experience, is not essential to this role as long as you have strong business acumen and sound analytical skills.
